Welcome to Cedar Jet Travel Pty Ltd (“Cedar Jet Travel”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing our website or booking any travel products or services through us, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
1. About Cedar Jet Travel
Cedar Jet Travel Pty Ltd is an Australian travel agency established in 1982, specialising in international, domestic, corporate and leisure travel. We act as an intermediary between our customers and travel service providers including airlines, hotels, cruise operators, tour companies, insurance providers and other travel suppliers.
2. Booking Confirmation
A booking is only confirmed once:
- Full or required payment has been received.
- You receive written confirmation from Cedar Jet Travel.
- The relevant supplier confirms availability.
All bookings remain subject to availability until confirmed.
3. Prices
All prices quoted:
- Are in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless stated otherwise.
- Are subject to availability.
- May change without notice until payment has been received.
- May be affected by airline surcharges, exchange rates, taxes or supplier price increases.
Quoted prices do not guarantee availability.
4. Supplier Terms
All flights, hotels, cruises, tours, transfers, insurance policies and other travel services are provided by independent suppliers.
Your booking is subject to:
- The supplier’s own Terms & Conditions
- Airline Conditions of Carriage
- Hotel policies
- Cruise policies
- Tour operator policies
Supplier rules may include restrictions relating to:
- Changes
- Cancellations
- Refunds
- Baggage
- Seat selection
- Schedule changes
5. Payments
We accept approved payment methods listed on our website.
Some payment methods may attract processing fees.
Failure to make payment by the due date may result in automatic cancellation of your booking.
6. Changes & Amendments
If you request changes after booking:
- Airline or supplier change fees may apply.
- Cedar Jet Travel may charge an administration fee.
- Some fares and packages cannot be changed.
Any fare difference must also be paid.
7. Cancellations
Cancellation fees depend on:
- Airline policies
- Hotel policies
- Tour operator policies
- Cruise operator policies
- Travel insurance terms
Many discounted airfares are completely non-refundable.
Administration fees charged by Cedar Jet Travel are generally non-refundable once booking work has commenced.
8. Refunds
Refund requests are subject to supplier approval.
Refund processing times vary and may take several weeks depending on the supplier.
Where permitted, refunds will be made using the original payment method.
Supplier cancellation fees, bank charges and Cedar Jet Travel service fees may be deducted.
9. Travel Documents
You are responsible for ensuring you possess:
- A valid passport
- Required visas
- Health documentation
- Vaccination certificates (where applicable)
- Any government entry requirements
Cedar Jet Travel is not responsible if travel is refused due to incorrect or incomplete documentation.
10. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for every traveller.
Travel insurance should ideally be purchased at the time of booking to protect against unforeseen events including:
- Cancellation
- Medical emergencies
- Lost luggage
- Travel delays
- Natural disasters
11. Flight Schedule Changes
Airlines may:
- Change flight times
- Cancel flights
- Change aircraft
- Alter routes
These changes are outside Cedar Jet Travel’s control.
We will assist you wherever possible but cannot guarantee alternative arrangements beyond supplier policies.
12. Limitation of Liability
Cedar Jet Travel acts solely as an agent for third-party travel suppliers.
We are not liable for:
- Airline delays
- Flight cancellations
- Lost baggage
- Hotel overbookings
- Supplier insolvency
- Service interruptions
- Weather events
- Government restrictions
- Industrial action
- Natural disasters
- Acts of terrorism
- Pandemics or health emergencies
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.
13. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate passenger information.
- Review all travel documents immediately upon receipt.
- Notify us promptly of any errors.
- Comply with all airline, hotel and supplier requirements.
- Follow all immigration and customs regulations.
14. Website Information
We aim to keep all information accurate and up to date.
However:
- Prices may change.
- Availability may change.
- Destination information may change without notice.
- Promotional offers may be withdrawn at any time.
We do not guarantee that website information will always be completely current.
15. Intellectual Property
All content on this website including:
- Logos
- Graphics
- Images
- Text
- Branding
- Designs
is the property of Cedar Jet Travel unless otherwise stated.
No content may be copied or reproduced without written permission.
16. Privacy
Your personal information is collected and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Australian privacy legislation.
Information may be shared with airlines, hotels, insurance providers and other suppliers only where necessary to fulfil your booking.
17. Force Majeure
Cedar Jet Travel shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform services due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- War
- Civil unrest
- Government actions
- Airline disruptions
- Pandemics
- Border closures
- Strikes
18. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
